What I liked most about Princess Lili is that she lives her life to the fullest extent。 Whether pretending to be the perfect princess or fronting as the infamous Indigo Flame， she takes her emotions and lets them fly。

I loved seeing the different sides of Lili and Jesse。 Lili has fled to spend time away from home and the castle and to live a little。 She meets Jesse when she literally falls to his feet。 Being a princess she has to take extra care to avoid being spotted。 She has an online persona that she has to use while in New York and she doesn’t realize that Jesse has put two and two together to realize that they are the same person。

Let me start this with I absolutely LOVE the "Pickleverse" and all its extensions given to us from J。J。 Knight- but goodness lawd Princess Lili and Jesse are something else！！Lili's story is NOTHING like any of the other royals （Royal Pickle - Leo & Sunny and Royal Rebel- Octavia & Finley）。 Yes， she has the same need for space， self-expression and freedom and finds her way to get away from the royal guards just like her brother and sister did before her- but that might be where the similarities e Let me start this with I absolutely LOVE the "Pickleverse" and all its extensions given to us from J。J。 Knight- but goodness lawd Princess Lili and Jesse are something else！！Lili's story is NOTHING like any of the other royals （Royal Pickle - Leo & Sunny and Royal Rebel- Octavia & Finley）。 Yes， she has the same need for space， self-expression and freedom and finds her way to get away from the royal guards just like her brother and sister did before her- but that might be where the similarities end。 Royal Escape is packed with humor and sweet moments between Lili and the handsome artist next door， Jesse。 But those moments between her alter ego， Indigo Flame and "the masked man" she met at the Vampire Ball？ 🔥🌶 🥵🌶🔥 sweet cheese and crackers。。。 THINGS ARE SPICY and intense。 While the heat and intensity were phenomenal- I'm a little ambivalent on how I felt about the rest of the story。 I loved Lili's "Indigo Flame" influencer friends- the added a layer of fun and craziness that rounded out this romantic comedy。 And as I said before there were so many sweet and fun moments when Lili and Jesse were their normal selves but I also felt a little flip flopped all round with the story at times that made it a little harder to capture my attention the way some of the other stories from this author do。 So while this might not be my favorite story- I certainly appreciate parts of it 😉🥵 and hope this won't be the last of the Pickles or their Avalonian ties！！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Princess Lili wants an adventure and with the birth of her niece she is able to escape the castle and stow away on the royal plane， which is headed to the States to pick up Sunny’s family。 She makes it to New York without being noticed。 Once in America she signs into an influencer’s hotel。 She goes up to her room and is exploring when she finds a door that she hasn’t noticed and heard a noise so she goes to investigate and it is a connecting door to the room next door and when the door opens she Princess Lili wants an adventure and with the birth of her niece she is able to escape the castle and stow away on the royal plane， which is headed to the States to pick up Sunny’s family。 She makes it to New York without being noticed。 Once in America she signs into an influencer’s hotel。 She goes up to her room and is exploring when she finds a door that she hasn’t noticed and heard a noise so she goes to investigate and it is a connecting door to the room next door and when the door opens she falls face first at the feet of a handsome guy。 The next time she sees him is after she is in her influencer’s costume and hopes he doesn’t notice her or make the connection to her。 The guy makes the connection and once she returns to the room he overhears a conversation between her and another person about a ball they are attending later that evening。 He gets a ticket for the ball and meets her with his costume and a mask so she doesn’t realize it’s the same guy。 They sneak into an empty space and have incredible sex and she finds out more about her interest than she had planned。 They meet up several times as both themselves and their costumed alter egos。 Her adventure last two weeks and she has a blast and is trying to find a way to make it last longer， however， the dude gives her away unintentionally。 Once back in Avalonia， she hides away in her rooms and he has a plan to see her。 He has a statuette that he has created of her in all her personalities。 He has her sister-in-laws family help him get to the country， however， he still has to find a way to see her。 Sunny comes to the rescue and tells him to be at the home being remodeled for Princess Octavia and she will get Lili there。 Lili shows up with Octavia and they reconnect and decide that they want to be together that she comes up with a plan。 At her niece’s first birthday party she stuns the family by proposing to Jesse。 This book is hard to put down once you begin but it’s such a fun read that I was sorry to see it end！ 。。。more
